The new season got off to the perfect start for Leicestershire’s U17 team with a commanding 20–0 victory over Buckinghamshire.

This was the first outing of the season and great to see the focus and determination of the team . Leicestershire displayed impressive strength, ability, teamwork and maturity. Every player had real impact showing both depth and balance across singles, doubles and mixed.

Buckinghamshire fought hard throughout, but the strength and consistency of the Leicestershire side proved too much. The Bucks manager even praised our team for their attitude and the overall quality of their play – a compliment that speaks volumes about the team. 

This brilliant 20–0 result marks an excellent start to what promises to be an exciting and competitive season ahead.
