Leicestershire Schools’ Badminton Association (LSBA) is an organisation that exists for the promotion of competitive and regular representative play for junior badminton players
Welcome from the Chairperson
The aim of LSBA and Team Leicestershire Junior Badminton is to identify talented young badminton players in Leicestershire and provide the structure and expert coaching to develop them into successful club, county and national badminton players.
Junior County Badminton
As part of Team Leicestershire, the LSBA provides an ability-based structure for the promotion and advancement of Junior Badminton at all levels within Leicestershire.
Tournaments
We organise county-wide junior badminton tournaments, catering to various age groups and skill levels, to inspire competition and growth.

Through collaboration with Team Leicestershire, local clubs, and associations, we create an inclusive and supportive space where talent is cultivated, and success is celebrated.
Performance
We are proud to have four players on the Badminton England Pathway Programme. In the 2023-24 Shires League, our teams earned 2nd place in U19 and U17, 3rd in U15, and 4th in U13, alongside a 6th-place finish in the ICT—showcasing our commitment to excellence.
